We first heard Michael play 4 years ago at my sister’s wedding in North Yorkshire. Both my wife Victoria and I commented then how great he was and one day we should book him for a gig of our own!
Finally we got around to it on Saturday night. We hosted a small party 50 guests in our games room at the end of the house. I won’t lie we were nervous about it as when you see and hear Mike play you’d think he would look comfortable in front of 40,000 guests never mind 40!! Well, stop looking……or thinking about it. This guys rocks and absolutely gets the party going and we had a belter. I’ve already sent our thanks but realise this is where you young ens (and some old ens) do your sharing of this sort of stuff so here it is on FB. Genuinely every one of our guests have commented on what a great night they had and Mike played his part both singing and DJíng for us from 4pm through to 2am. Michael is definitely in the top 3 of the best decisions we made made for our wedding in August this year. He was absolutely brilliant. We were lucky enough to see him at a wedding fair in our chosen venue so we knew before our big day he’d sound amazing. He’s so talented and he added such a special touch to our day. He played exactly what we wanted him to when we wanted him to. The biggest bonus for us is that he arrived early so we got to hear him play for longer. If you’re thinking of booking Michael for your wedding don’t anticipate on the idea. Get him booked, he’ll make your day!
Everyone and I mean everyone commented on how good he was and we were so pleased we got to have him play all our favourite songs with all our favourite people.

We asked Michael to play an acoustic set during our ceremony and reception at Utopia, Broughton Estate. He was amazing !! So many people told us how brilliant he sounded and he played so many of our favourite songs!
Towards the evening Michael set up for his DJ set and played some absolute bangers! He kept the dancefloor busy and everyone loved it.
We couldn't recommend Michael enough for your wedding. And he's a decent chap as well!

We had Michael for our wedding in July and the only word I can say is incredible. We had Michael sing during the meal then sing and Dj at night. From the moment we booked everything was easy from making a playlist to sending him our requests.

We booked Michael for our drinks reception and it was an absolute joy having him there. He was prompt with any queries we had before the day, and was extremely professional on the day itself, setting up on his own and ready to go once the ceremony was finished. He literally sneaks in, quietly sets up without knowing he's there and gets the music going! The same with leaving - so much so we felt awful not speaking to him. He has an amazing catalog of songs to pick from, all sounding perfect on the day and he kindly took some requests of guests which wasn't planned! AMAZING!

Trying to find a wedding singer who wasn’t cheesy and played our favourite tunes seemed to be quite a hard task until I came across Michael! Looking through his set list I instantly knew we had to have him for our wedding!
He made our wedding!
He learnt a song to walk back down the aisle to and got everyone dancing and clapping as we did so. He even let our best man take to the mike for a rendition of seven nation army! Michael performed at our tipi wedding in the Lake District and was absolutely incredible. His fantastic website was perfect for getting a feel of his style and we knew from then we had to book him. His communication throughout was superb and we met up with him a month before the wedding to go through our day. He made us feel at ease straight away and we knew he was going to help us make our day even more special. We didn’t know just how much though. Michael played at our ceremony, during the day and then at night. He then did a DJ set to finish the day. Our guests were in awe of his ability and the way he performed, choosing to sing the perfect songs and reading the music preferences of everyone perfectly. He quite simply made our day because without him it would not have been anywhere near as rememberable. He was worth every penny and more. I had first meet him at a wedding fair in ilkley and within the first minute of him singing I knew I wanted him at my wedding. His voice is like nothing I have ever heard before, his voice gives me shivers and butterflies. If I could I’d of just sat and listen to him all day.

Michael played during our wedding ceremony and did a set at our reception. He’s absolutely fantastic. He has such a wide range of songs you can chose from and my partner and I found lots that suited both our tastes. There was one particular song that we wanted to walk back down the aisle to when we were married and Michael took the time to learn this for us. He is a fab musician and has a fantastic voice. We received lots of comments from our guests who really enjoyed the music and all rated Michael highly. The music was perfect for the more intimate setting of the actual wedding and equally as brilliant for helping get people in the party spirit at the drinks reception. He perfectly created a great atmosphere in the early evening whilst playing outside, then helped fill the dance floor later on. Really gave our lot something to dance to! Then to top it off, started another little party in the ‘Grain Silo’ at Skipbridge within a very small, hot, slightly sweaty and drunken environment. Very adaptable and really read the crowd! I’m pretty sure he learnt and played one of our favourite songs on the spot and nailed it!!!
Would definitely recommend for any type of wedding!

Me and my wife wanted someone to play excellent acoustic guitar at our wedding and get everyone on the dance floor in the evening. All the while, whilst ensuring Bon Jovi, The Proclaimers or the likes of The Cha Cha Slide weren’t anywhere to be seen. Michael was able to deliver the best of Ashcroft, The Roses, Primal Scream and Oasis (without Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger) on both the guitar and the dance floor. The main thing we wanted was someone who had an active interest in the music we like and not just reel off the hit parade of generic music. Let’s just say, if we did it again, Michael would be our man!!

Michael played a brilliant tailored acoustic set during the drinks reception which struck a perfect balance between adding to the atmosphere but at the same time providing entertainment for those who were keen to watch more closely. Michael was always very approachable and I knew from very early on that we were in a safe pair of hands. He then did an evening dj set for us, consisting of a number of our own song choices then adding tunes to roughly match our varied musical tastes. AMAZING!!! One of the best choices we made for our wedding day!!! We live in Australia got married on the 10th Aug 17 in the UK at Camp Katur. I found Michael through a blog, watched a couple of videos on YouTube and booked him!!! Literally that simple and never looked back. Our day had lots of different settings from woodland ceremony, meadow drinks and barn reception, nothing was too much trouble for Michael. He was a dream to have on the day and our guests loved him. Our friend sang our entrance song and Michael accompanied, the song was a surprise for us and Michael took it upon himself to organise all the details and rehearsals with our friend. Micheal also played 2 songs at the ceremony and it was just perfect. He also sang at the meadow which set the mood perfectly as well as outside the barn, inside the barn and did a DJ set. Honestly this man was just a star!!!! He organised himself without ever seeing the venue and only email contact. All of our guests were totally blown away by his singing and song choices!! It was just magical and we could not of asked for more. The most memorable moment for me was Michael singing Bob Marley- One Love for our first dance it makes me emotional to just think about it!! So thank you Michael, you made our dreams come true and above everything you are just a really top guy!!
So if you are thinking of booking Michael my advise would be DO IT!! #noregrets

Michael played our wedding in Nottingham in the 5th August this year and was absolutely fantastic. He played 3 live sets for us and also undertook our evening disco. The choice of songs on his website was superb and once we saw videos of his singing we booked him straight away, and he did not disappoint! So many of our friends have commented to us on how great he was and he provided an amazing soundtrack to our special day. Following a recommendation, listening to Michael's online performances and looking through his set lists. Jonathan and I were certain that we wanted Michael to play at our wedding. We can safely say that we are glad that we did. Our wedding was in August this year, Michael played three sets; through our Reception drinks, after our wedding breakfast, and in the evening. He was also the DJ throughout the evening. We asked Michael if he could sing for our first dance. We really wanted Cascada (Every time we touch), we were amazed at what Michael had created when he played.

I knew we had found the one based on the excellent reviews he received from previous customers and listenig to samples of his music. Michael (amazingly) came to our rescue at relatively short notice as a close friend who was lined up to perform at our ceremony and drinks reception had to excuse himself following an unfortunate incident with a vegetable peeler. (True story)
With us both living in London, our families living in Essex and Yorkshire, and getting married in Liverpool we didn't have time or any local recommendations to go with. We resorted to good old google! After a short search we found Michael and took a punt...it really paid off. His manor, approachability, repertoire, set list, performance and friendliness were absolutely bang on.
On the day he filled the room with sound loud enough to be heard, but not so drowning you couldn't think. The songs we selected for the ceremony (which some he learnt especially for us) were played and enjoyed by not only us, but also our gaggle of guests. Even at the drinks reception he obliged by lending the photographer his mic to gather all the guests together for a group shot whilst two ushers let off bazooka-like confetti cannons. Boom!! We loved every minute - Thank you!!

Michael made our day amazing with his excellent music choices for his DJ set, and made our "late" evening perfect with his guitar and voice around the campfire.
He played everything we asked for, got the crowd singing along and even did a rendition of Fast Car (that wasn't on the list, but a drunken request) which ended up being such a funny highlight.
Michael was friendly with all our guests and one of the biggest compliments of the day was how much fun the dancing was to his set.

We provided Michael with a playlist of all our favourite songs which he played to perfection. We also asked him to learn a song that no one had ever heard of which he did and it was amazing! His voice is flawless and he is extremely talented, playing guitar and harmonica. He kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night until the end of his DJ set.

Several of our guests asked me where we found Michael from and I had to say an extremely lucky Google search (followed by a nervous wait to find out that he was available for our date).
Michael played whilst the guests were seated, as we walked down the aisle, during the signing of the register, drinks reception and two slots during the evening - followed by a brilliant DJ set. We were complimented on our choice of music, which was mostly down to Michael who followed our suggestions and added in his own.
Michael performed our first dance song, taking the time and effort to learn it especially for us. Our choice was ‘How long will I love you?’, but we wanted something in-between the Ellie Goulding and The Waterboys version - Michael pulled this off perfectly.

Michael played at my 60th last Saturday (31st October 2015) I'd set him a quite difficult task with my musical choices, but he performed two fantastic acoustic sets, plus two,all encompassing, DJ sets.
All in all, a brilliant job done Michael, thankyou so much.

Michael performed at our wedding on 4/9/2015 and we can't recommend him highly enough for anyone looking for wedding or party entertainment. His acoustic set is fabulous and DJ set was great too. All our friends and family have all commented how fantastic he was.

Michael played an acoustic set during our wedding ceremony and drinks reception in July and was utterly fantastic!
I stumbled across Michael's website and after listening to a few demos I booked him straight away. During the planning process he was very professional but also relaxed which really helped to put an already stressed out bride at ease!
Nothing was too much trouble and Michael even learnt a new song request for when I walked down the aisle- he absolutely smashed it and really helped add to such a special moment. During our drinks reception Michael played a great range of songs and created such a fun but chilled out vibe- exactly what we wanted.
I genuinely cant recommend Michael enough- he was absolutely brilliant! :)

Michael played during our ceremony and drinks reception and also did an excellent DJ set in the evening of our wedding day. The reaction was unanimously positive with lots of guests commenting on how good the music was and the atmosphere it gave to our day.
Michael was very flexible with all of our requests both before and during the day, and the music during the ceremony was done perfectly. He was even happy to keep moving between outdoors and indoors at the venue as the showers came and went!
In the evening Michael's relaxed and accommodating DJ set was just what we were looking for and kept the dance floor full all night.
Can't thank him enough for his contribution to the day.

Michael played at my husbands 50th and daughters 21st joint party On Sunday night. He was absolutely fabulous and our guest were entertained all evening with songs from both eras. Thanks Michael we will certainly recommend you
