On the 1st June I had the pleasure of visiting Inkersall Grange Farm in Newark, Nottinghamshire for Deanne & Alistair’s Tipi wedding.
Inkersall Grange is a beautiful farm wedding venue which hosts a giant tipi capable of catering upto 170 people! Something which stood out to me at this tipi, was the hardwood floor which looked amazing, and something I’ve never seen in a tipi before. Deanne & Alistair also added lot’s of personal touches, including hundreds of origami swans which the bride hand made herself!
Deanne & Alistair booked me for their evening wedding entertainment to perform 2 x 45 min sets + DJ from 6pm until midnight. I decided to perform the acoustic sets outside on the lawn as guests were chilling out eating Crêpe’s & Pizza enjoying the beautiful evening sun.

I then moved inside to perform a DJ set for the set of the evening. This would normally be the time for the cake cutting and first dance… Not for Deanne & Alistair – they wanted a relaxed non traditional wedding. instead out came a table of chocolate brownies and cheese selection before they danced the rest of the night away.
“Michael, you were amazing last night at our tipi wedding! Thank you so much for playing the sets outside on the grass while guests chilled eating crepes and pizza, it was the most fantastic vibe! You have a wonderful voice and we are so pleased you supported our day!” Deanne & Alistair
