We book Michael for the full day package for our wedding on 11th July (the day of the Euros final!). We had to rearrange several times due to covid but Michael was great throughout and was quick to respond to any questions we had. The organising and choosing our set list wasn’t a problem as Michael covers so many of our favourite songs and he covered our first dance song as we requested without a problem we had so many comments on how fantastic Michael was and the dance floor was full until the end of the night!

We booked Michael for our wedding at Pickering Railway Station in September 2018 and couldn’t have asked for any more!

From start-to-finish we were thoroughly impressed. It was great that we were able to watch a couple of local gigs first, to request a few different songs and see what style they were in – we loved that he used a harmonica in some of the songs!

We met a couple of months before the wedding and Michael was extremely helpful in organising the timings and ideas for songs. He even agreed to learn an Icelandic song to walk down the aisle to! (Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros) We absolutely loved this, and it still gets us all goosebumpy thinking back to it!

What we hadn’t realised until the day was that Michael had been suffering with tonsilitis the week before, not that you’d have noticed – he was absolutely brilliant and sang at both our ceremony and evening reception. He then turned DJ until the celebrations finished. He understood completely our style and what genres of music we were into and the dancefloor was full all night!

All of the guests commented on how good (and nice) he was and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough! I’m just sad we don’t get to do it all over again!

AMAZING!!! One of the best choices we made for our wedding day!!! We live in Australia got married on the 10th Aug 17 in the UK at Camp Katur. I found Michael through a blog, watched a couple of videos on YouTube and booked him!!! Literally that simple and never looked back. Our day had lots of different settings from woodland ceremony, meadow drinks and barn reception, nothing was too much trouble for Michael. He was a dream to have on the day and our guests loved him. Our friend sang our entrance song and Michael accompanied, the song was a surprise for us and Michael took it upon himself to organise all the details and rehearsals with our friend. Micheal also played 2 songs at the ceremony and it was just perfect. He also sang at the meadow which set the mood perfectly as well as outside the barn, inside the barn and did a DJ set. Honestly this man was just a star!!!! He organised himself without ever seeing the venue and only email contact. All of our guests were totally blown away by his singing and song choices!! It was just magical and we could not of asked for more. The most memorable moment for me was Michael singing Bob Marley- One Love for our first dance it makes me emotional to just think about it!! So thank you Michael, you made our dreams come true and above everything you are just a really top guy!!

Michael (amazingly) came to our rescue at relatively short notice as a close friend who was lined up to perform at our ceremony and drinks reception had to excuse himself following an unfortunate incident with a vegetable peeler. (True story)

With us both living in London, our families living in Essex and Yorkshire, and getting married in Liverpool we didn’t have time or any local recommendations to go with. We resorted to good old google! After a short search we found Michael and took a punt…it really paid off. His manor, approachability, repertoire, set list, performance and friendliness were absolutely bang on. 

On the day he filled the room with sound loud enough to be heard, but not so drowning you couldn’t think. The songs we selected for the ceremony (which some he learnt especially for us) were played and enjoyed by not only us, but also our gaggle of guests. Even at the drinks reception he obliged by lending the photographer his mic to gather all the guests together for a group shot whilst two ushers let off bazooka-like confetti cannons. Boom!! We loved every minute – Thank you!! 

Michael is effortlessly cool, wonderfully friendly and an extremely talented musician – we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!!

Michael performed throughout the day at our wedding on Saturday 30th April and we can’t thank him enough for creating such a fantastic atmosphere. Several of our guests asked me where we found Michael from and I had to say an extremely lucky Google search (followed by a nervous wait to find out that he was available for our date).

Michael played whilst the guests were seated, as we walked down the aisle, during the signing of the register, drinks reception and two slots during the evening – followed by a brilliant DJ set. We were complimented on our choice of music, which was mostly down to Michael who followed our suggestions and added in his own.

Michael performed our first dance song, taking the time and effort to learn it especially for us. Our choice was ‘How long will I love you?’, but we wanted something in-between the Ellie Goulding and The Waterboys version – Michael pulled this off perfectly.

We honestly can’t thank you enough and would highly recommend you to anyone looking for fantastic entertainment and a genuinely nice person to be part of their special day.

Michael was an accidental find, after googling “acoustic wedding singer midlands” or something, and we’re so glad we clicked on his page!
After listening to a few of his recordings and looking at what he could offer, we asked Michael to play for our whole day, including the wedding ceremony, drinks reception, an acoustic set in the evening AND do a DJ set on top of that. It was a little nerve wracking, as we hadn’t seen/heard Michael live, but we liked the mix of songs listed on his page (we have quite different tastes to each other!), particularly the variety of instruments (guitar, ukulele AND harmonica!!).
A few days before the wedding, we received a sample recording of our chosen first dance song, that we’d asked Michael to learn – Something Changed by Pulp – and it was just perfect. We knew then he was going to do a brilliant job – and this was proved where throughout the day and even after the wedding, all of our guests (and our photographer!) repeatedly commented on how good he was, how brilliant his voice was, and how the variety of songs ensured that there was something for everyone there.

Michael was absolutely amazing when he performed at our home as part of our daughter’s celebrations for her 18th birthday. She absolutely loves live music but as we had arranged for just a small gathering of her friends to come to our very modestly sized family home, I was concerned as to whether it would be a difficult task for a performer used to bigger venues and a larger audience. However, with Michael I had no reason to worry whatsoever. He immediately fitted in with great ease and performed beautifully all evening.
Despite Michael’s audience consisting of seventeen and eighteen year olds (arguably one of the most difficult age groups to please!), he entertained and interacted brilliantly with them. During what could have been an unnerving atmosphere for any performer playing to a small audience sat in such close proximity and watching intently, he remained unflustered and had them all completely mesmerised. He had already prepared a set list covering many of my daughter’s favourite songs but his large repertoire meant that he was able to play unexpected requests on the night and was really obliging.
Michael’s voice is amazing and when he played the harmonica alongside the guitar playing, it took his performance to another level and filled the room with such a good vibe that you couldn’t believe there was just one man creating this atmosphere.
No-one wanted the evening to end and my daughter said that Michael had made her 18th birthday such a special and memorable one and she, and all her friends, had been blown away by how good he was.
Michael is a polite, courteous and extremely professional individual who, whilst working hard throughout the evening, helped create a relaxed atmosphere with his laid-back nature and good sense of humour and I really can’t recommend him enough to anyone, whatever their requirements, as in addition to being extremely talented and versatile, he is a genuinely, really nice young man.

I’d like to thank Michael for his performance at our wedding, which was fantastic and went beyond our expectations. You never know what to expect when you haven’t had the chance to see someone live beforehand and we were somewhat nervous, despite him sounding excellent on the SoundCloud clips. Michael was extremely accommodating and despite having an extensive list of songs, he readily agreed to perform a couple of our own choices, which was great. The wedding was relaxed and Michael’s laid back demeanour and charm fit right in with this and he interacted with guests, a lot of whom were slightly intoxicated(!), with ease and good humour.
